TKD Achieves New Breakthrough with High-End Automotive-Grade Crystal Oscillators
Recently, the national technology innovation demonstration enterprise TKD announced good news: its independently developed 38.4MHz automotive-grade thermocompensated crystal oscillator has successfully passed the stringent automotive certification of American company Qualcomm, becoming the first domestic crystal oscillator manufacturer to receive this certification. This product can operate stably in extreme temperatures of up to 115°C, setting the highest temperature record for Qualcomm automotive certifications to date, marking a new breakthrough for China in the core components of automotive electronics. In the field of automotive electronics, temperature adaptability is a key factor in evaluating the reliability of components. Traditional crystal oscillator products typically have an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, while key areas such as the engine compartment and transmission system of vehicles often experience temperatures beyond this range. The 38.4MHz automotive-grade crystal oscillator certified by TKD achieves an ultra-wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 115°C, maintaining precise frequency output and stable performance even in the most extreme thermal environments of vehicles. This technological breakthrough not only meets the current demand for highly reliable components in smart cars but also lays the foundation for the future development of automotive electronics toward more advanced intelligent driving.
In recent years, TKD has continuously made breakthroughs in the field of automotive-grade crystal oscillators, establishing the only independent automotive-grade production line in China and a CNAS-standard laboratory. The company has developed over 2,000 automotive-grade product models, forming a comprehensive solution covering the five major areas of automotive electronics.
Qualcomm, as a global leading chip company, is known for its rigorous automotive-grade certification. Previously, Taijing Technology's 76.8MHz high-frequency thermocompensated crystal oscillator passed Qualcomm's automotive-grade 5G platform certification. According to a relevant person from TKD, multiple products passing Qualcomm certification indicates that TKD's automotive-grade crystal oscillators have reached an internationally leading level, breaking the technological monopoly of foreign manufacturers in the high-end automotive-grade crystal oscillator sector and providing the domestic automotive industry chain with a reliable locally-produced alternative solution.
